Young man commits suicide by not buying motorcycle and iPhone
Welcome to Mymensingh’s Muktagachha. A young man named Chowdhury (21) has committed suicide.
Police recovered his body from Harijan Sevapalli of Muktagachha Municipality on Friday morning.
Welcome Chowdhury is the son of Anil Chowdhury of Harijan Sevapalli.
President of Harijan Sevapalli Tanmoy Chowdhury has confirmed this information.
Referring to the family, the police said that after seeing the special discounts on the occasion of Eid online, they wanted to buy a new motorcycle and iPhone from their father.
He wanted to know from his father on Thursday night whether he would buy a bike or an iPhone. When his father told him to buy it after Eid, he haughtily hung himself on the wall of the house on Friday morning. In the morning, the family members saw his hanging body and informed the police.
Anil Chowdhury, the father of the deceased, said that he had asked them to buy a motorcycle and an iPhone before Eid. I said I would buy it after Eid because of money problem. Why didn’t I buy it before Eid? He committed suicide out of pride.
Muktagachha Police Station OC Mahmudul Hasan said a young man committed suicide out of pride with his family members. The body was handed over to the family as there was no objection to the autopsy.
