BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that it seems ridiculous to talk about Awami League democracy.

He said the Awami League government has become completely dependent on bureaucrats and law enforcement agencies. This government is completely isolated from the people. The mother and son of Kalabagan are proof that he was taken to jail for protesting against the government.

He said this while talking to reporters at his residence in Kalibari of Thakurgaon municipal town on Tuesday morning.

Fakhrul said the Awami League is now an internationally recognized dictatorship. Different countries have already identified the Awami government as an authoritarian party. Proof of this is Shenson of the United States. And the people of the country themselves are realizing that they are under a fascist government.
