Visa fees paid by expatriates have been reduced by more than 85 percent, according to an announcement on Sunday.
A statement issued online by the Ministry of Labor said: “His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq has issued his royal directive to issue licenses for the recruitment of expatriate workers and to reduce the fees for renewal in line with the implementation of the government service price guidelines. OMR 211 to meet first class and Omanization percentage for two years from OMR 2001 to OMR 301.
OMR 601-1001 to OMR 251 and OMR 176 second class in terms of commitment to humanization percentage
Third class from OMR 301-361 to OMR 201 and OMR 141 if you meet the Omanization Percentage.
