The body of Akbar Hossain Pathan Farooq, one of the most popular heroes of the Bengali film movement, valiant freedom fighter and honorable Member of Parliament for Dhaka-17 Constituency, Akbar Hossain Pathan Farooq, will arrive in Dhaka from Singapore on a special US-Bangla Airlines flight today, Tuesday, May 16. The US-Bangla flight BS-308 from Singapore will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 7:50 am as per the schedule with the body of Nayak Farooq. The US-Bangla flight took off at 5:40 a.m. Singapore local time and started its journey to Dhaka.

It should be noted here that Reverend Farooq Pathan passed away at Mount Elizabeth Hospital on Monday at 10 am local time in Singapore. (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilahi Raziun). The US-Bangla Airlines family along with the entire nation mourns the untimely death of Nayak Farooq.

Nayak Farooq will be forever remembered for his immense role in the formation of Deshmatrika. The US-Bangla family is praying for the strength of his bereaved family to bear this grief.
