Barisal District Representative: With the holy Eid-ul-Fitr in mind, two parks named Shahi 99 and Faria Garden are being set up for entertainment lovers in the northern district of Barisal. The interior of the park is adorned with colorful flowers and beautiful plants and herbs from home and abroad.

Tree lover Md. Shamim Ahmed, the creator of Shahi 99 Park, said that since the construction of the park in Batajor Deopara area of ​​Gournadi Upazila for the entertainment lovers, 14 species of plants and herbs have been planted around the country and abroad. The park has already been remodeled ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. Riders have been launched for children and teenagers. The Watch Tower has also been built to enjoy the beauty of nature. He added that the entire park has been brought under CCTV for the safety of the visitors.

Md. Nuruzzaman Farhad Munshi, the creator of Fariha Park and Vice Chairman of Gournadi Upazila, said that Fariha Garden was constructed in the Cuttack area of ​​Barthi Union of Gournadi Upazila for the entertainment lovers. New flower gardens and plants have been planted to enhance the beauty of the park, including the installation of riders for children and teenagers. Restaurants have been opened inside the park. He added that work is underway to build aquariums, fountains and widen roads to enter the park. The works will be completed before Eid. He also mentioned that the park, built in a rural area away from the hustle and bustle of the city, would bring a different kind of peace to the minds of the entertainment lovers.
