Truck movement stopped on some roads of Muscat
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has decided to stop truck traffic for some time during the day to avoid traffic jams. The agency’s Department of Relations and Security Media has announced that truck movement will be prohibited on certain roads from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM local time on Thursday. A Times of Oman report said this. According to ROP, this decision has been taken to avoid traffic jam. The roads that will be closed are the main roads of Muscat, Dakhiliya Road (from Muscat to Bidbid Bridge), Al Batinah Highway (from Muscat to Shinasser). The Royal Oman Police urged truck drivers to comply with the instructions in the public interest.
