Three students have died in a bus accident in Oman. 6 people were injured.

A statement from the Royal Oman Police (ROP) quoted local media as saying that three students were killed and seven others were seriously injured when a bus overturned on Al Batinah Highway on Thursday.

The bus lost control on Batinah Highway Lane after the Mikhalev Bridge in Saham and collided with a police officer on the side of the road and a truck on his track on Service Road, the ROP said in a statement.

RP did not reveal the names of the dead and injured.
