Thousands of people from Bangladesh are leaving the country for Eid holidays this year as restrictions on corona virus have been lifted in different countries.
Tour operators say there have been restrictions on travel over the past two years due to an outbreak of the corona virus.
With the lifting of these restrictions, people have become quite eager to travel abroad.
Mahmudul Hasan Tuhin, an official at Akashbari Holidays, a tour operator in Dhaka, says travel has increased because of the Kovid ban.

Mahbubur Rahman, a businessman from Dhaka, said he has celebrated every Eid of his life in the village.
This is the first time he has gone abroad to celebrate Eid to have a different experience. He said many tourists from Bangladesh are going to Dubai, Maldives and Thailand this Eid.
