The United Arab Emirates is set to launch a space mission by purchasing a seat for a SpaceX rocket from the private company Exjom Space. With this rocket they will send adventurers for a long mission of six months. Emirates astronauts will take part in the SpaceX Crew-6 mission. The SpaceX rocket will be launched in the first six months of 2023. The rocket will be launched at the Kennedy Space Center in the United States.
The space mission was announced in the United Arab Emirates on Friday. The UAE is the first Arab country to send astronauts into space for a long time, according to the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center.
The space mission was announced following an agreement between the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center and ExxonMobil Space at the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC.
