BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that it is the Awami League that swears at foreigners and not the BNP.
He said that the public request of Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen to go to the United States to bring the BNP to the polls proves that it is the Awami League that gives allegiance to foreigners.
He was speaking at a discussion meeting and Iftar gathering organized by the Jatiya Ganatantrik Party (JAGPA) at the Jatiya Press Club on Wednesday.
Mirza Fakhrul said, “Unfortunately, our foreign minister has gone to America today. He has met the foreign minister of that country.”
He vowed and requested that the BNP should be brought to the polls for democracy in Bangladesh.
