The Sylhet Divisional Commissioner visited the houses of the landless
Shah Sumon, Baniachang Correspondent: The Sylhet Divisional Commissioner has inspected 150 houses on the Baniachang main road built by the Prime Minister for the landless and homeless class families on the occasion of Mujib’s centenary.
Sylhet Divisional Commissioner and Additional Secretary Dr. Muhammad Mosharraf Hossain visited the Prime Minister’s gift house on Sunday, April 24 at 1 pm.
Later, he visited Nagura Farm, Regional Office, Bangladesh Rice Research Institute. Habiganj Deputy Commissioner Ishrat Jahan was present at the time.
Baniachang Upazila Parishad Chairman Abul Qasim Chowdhury, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Padmasan Singh, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Iffat Ara Zaman Urmi, PIO Malay Kumar Das, Baniachang Press Club President Moshahed Mia.
The Divisional Commissioner expressed his satisfaction by inspecting the houses of the landless and homeless. He praised the concerned people for the good quality of housework.
Attending the Rice Research Institute, the Divisional Commissioner urged the working scientists and concerned persons to do more research and innovation on new varieties of paddy.
At this time, the concerned scientists highlighted the various glorious aspects of the organization and gave details of their success to the guests.
