The Prime Minister directed to construct the building keeping fire safety measures in mind
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has instructed all, including city planners, to construct buildings with fire safety measures.
Besides, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also directed to make development plan keeping in mind adequate water flow.
He made the remarks at the inauguration ceremony of 40 newly constructed fire stations in different parts of the country on Sunday (April 24).
At the time, the Prime Minister said, fire drills should be conducted from time to time in different places, including educational institutions, so that everyone can know what to do when dealing with dangers.

Sheikh Hasina further said that the government is strengthening the fire fighting team with modern equipment. Citizens also have to be responsible. Bangabandhu Kanya also warned that no concession would be given to the firefighters who went to the rescue.
The Prime Minister said fire stations will be constructed in every upazila of the country in phases.
