President’s press secretary. Zainal Abedin said that the President will leave Dhaka for Pabna on a four-day visit on Monday morning. He will participate in several programs including public reception and will interact with journalists, intellectuals, local dignitaries and political leaders.
This will be his first visit after assuming office as President. On the second day of the official visit, he will be accorded a civic reception at the city’s government Edward College grounds on May 16.
According to the President’s itinerary, the President will start his journey to Pabna by helicopter from Dhaka’s Tejgaon Helipad at 11:10 AM on Monday, May 15. After arriving at Pabna Circuit House at 1:00 p.m., the guard of honor will be received there.
At 1:20 PM, the President will inaugurate the name plaque of the Pabna Zilla Parishad Bangabandhu Chatter and lay a wreath on the portrait of Bangabandhu. He will visit the graves of his parents at Arifpur Cemetery in Pabna at 1:30 PM.
At 2 o’clock in the afternoon, he will visit the graves at Square Baganbari family cemetery. Sahabuddin. The President will inaugurate Bangabandhu Corner and Bangabandhu Mural of Pabna District and Sessions Judge Court at 4 pm. After that he will discuss with the lawyers.
On Tuesday (May 16) at 10 am, the President will attend a civic reception at the Government Edward College ground in Pabna. He will interact with local journalists at Pabna Press Club at 5 pm today.
Besides, on Wednesday (May 17) at 11 a.m., the office of Pabna Diabetic Association was visited and at 5 p.m. Bir Muktijoddha Md. Sahabuddin will visit the amusement park.
The President will leave Pabna for Dhaka at 11:30 am on Thursday (May 18).
This will be his first visit to Pabna as President after taking oath on April 24. On the occasion of his visit to Pabna, there is a joyful atmosphere in the area.
