We must continue our victory in the next election. Besides, there is no way open. It should be remembered that when the BNP-Jamaat alliance came to power, our eyes were blinded by the crime of voting in the boat, our hands and feet were cut off, trade and commerce were shut down and destroyed. If they come to power again, they will kill one lakh people in Dhaka city in one day. It is necessary to acquire organizational strength by holding it in the chest and to win the next election by resisting all conspiracies. Source: Jugantar

These words were said by the speakers at the introductory meeting of the unit committee of Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League at Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Saturday.

Awami League General Secretary and Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader addressed the function as the chief guest. He said if the Awami League is united, we will be able to reach the port of victory under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina in the next elections. The Awami League will reach the port of victory. Propaganda, killing character is of no use. There is no benefit in propaganda at home and abroad. The roots of the Awami League cannot be uprooted as deep as Bangladesh.

Awami League presidium member and Agriculture Minister. Abdur Razzak said when BNP-Jamaat was in power, the country’s democracy was under extreme threat. Awami League leaders and activists were homeless. Their shops, businesses and trades were looted by all the BNP leaders. They killed 26,000 Awami League workers.

Addressing the grassroots leaders and activists, he said, “You are on the streets, you are the ones who are dealing with Hefazat, you are the ones who are dealing with BNP-Jamaat.” The conspirators are conspiring in various ways so you have to be alert and careful. If necessary, take to the streets.

Another member of the presidium, Lt. Colonel (Retd.) Muhammad Farooq Khan said, we have many challenges ahead. The forthcoming parliamentary elections and our national conference are very important. Strong committees should be formed at all levels before the National Conference. Through this we will strengthen the hand of our party and leader.

Presidium member Advocate Jahangir Kabir Nanak said the conspiracy was going on. We have to fight against that conspiracy and defeat it. We must continue our victory, there is no other way open. We have to keep in mind that those Tareq Rahmans are sitting in London and conspiring again. You have to go your own way by dealing with that conspiracy. So we have to think of each day as a year and work from now on.

Calling on the leaders and workers to prepare for the next national elections, Awami League organizing secretary Mirza Azam said, “What is the target today after organizing so much, increasing organizational strength, coordination with allied organizations, party office and so on?” Target: In the national election in the first week of January 2024, Sheikh Hasina will nominate the winner of the eight seats in Dhaka North. Only then can we go to power. And if I can not go to power, then who will come to power? Ever wondered? Tareq Rahman, son of Bangabandhu’s killer Ziaur Rahman will come to power. Have you ever wondered what will happen to us? They will kill one lakh people in Dhaka city in one day.

Awami League office secretary Barrister Biplob Bara-ya also spoke as a special guest on the occasion. President of Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League Sheikh Bazlur Rahman presided over the function.
