The moon was not seen in the sky of Bangladesh, Eid Tuesday

The moon of Shawwal month was not seen in the sky of Bangladesh on Sunday (May 1). As a result, Monday (May 2) will be the 30th day of the month of Ramadan. In that case, Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of Muslims across the country, will be celebrated on Tuesday (May 3).

The National Moon Sighting Committee held a meeting in the meeting room of the Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the evening to observe the holy Eid-ul-Fitr moon.

According to a press release issued by the Islamic Foundation, the meeting was held at 7 pm. Faridul Haque Khan. The meeting reviewed the news of the sighting of the moon in the month of Shawwal in the year 1443 AH and fixed the date for the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Earlier, the Islamic Foundation said in a press release that if the moon of the holy month of Ramadan is seen anywhere in the sky of Bangladesh, it can be called 02-223371825, 02-41050912, 02-41050917 and 02-41050918 telephone numbers and 02-223593 The Islamic Foundation requests that the concerned District Deputy Commissioner (DC) or Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) be informed.

Meanwhile, the moon of the holy month of Shawwal was not seen in Saudi Arabia on Saturday (April 30). This time Sunday is the 30th day of the holy month of Ramadan in the country. As a result, Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated in Saudi Arabia on Monday (May 2).

The Middle East-based news outlet Gulf News reports that a pre-scheduled meeting of Saudi Arabia’s “Moon Sighting Committee” was held on Saturday (April 30th). Earlier, the citizens of the country were requested to inform the information committee if they saw the Eid moon anywhere.
