The Deputy Minister of Environment distributed financial assistance and relief in Mongla
Bagerhat Correspondent: TR and Kabikhar DO, corrugated iron have been distributed in several religious institutions including poor families, mosques, temples in Mongla of Bagerhat.
These relief items were distributed under the initiative of the Upazila Administration under the Disaster Management Department.
Deputy Minister for Environment, Forests and Climate Begum Habibun Nahar MP was present as the chief guest at a function organized at Mongla Upazila Officers Club on Friday (April 29) at 11 am and distributed the relief items.
Mongla Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kamlesh Majumder presided over the function and special guests were present on the occasion. Mongla Upazila Parishad Chairman Abu Taher Hawlader, Mongla Police Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Monirul Islam, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Zafar Rana President Israfil Hawlader, UP Chairman Mollah Tarkil Islam and leaders and workers of local Awami League and its affiliates were present.
