District Representative Bagerhat: An SSC candidate named Brishti Biswas (18) committed suicide by hanging himself at Morelganj in Bagerhat.
The incident took place at his home in Kathaltala village of Morelganj around 8pm on Wednesday (May 4). The deceased were identified as Brishti Biswas, daughter of Asim Biswas of Kathaltala village and mother of Rani.

According to family sources, Brishti committed suicide by hanging herself from her throat after being scolded for having an affair.

According to school sources, the deceased Brishti had filled the form for participation in the SSC examination of 2022 from KG Secondary School in Morelganj Sadar.
