Road safety week is being celebrated in Moulvibazar
Timir Banik, Moulvibazar correspondent: Road Safety Week-2022 is being observed in the district from Wednesday with the motto “Obey the speed limit, return home safely”.
On the occasion of Road Safety Week, Road Safety Week will be celebrated on various roads and highways from April 26 to May 1 under the joint initiative of District Police and District Traffic Department under the leadership of District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria.
In order to create awareness among the general public and drivers about road safety traffic laws and traffic signals, special counseling was arranged at Mansur Nagar traffic check post with the participation of senior police officers of the district. Awareness leaflets were distributed among the drivers and passengers.
District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Zakaria was present and campaigned on road safety for drivers and passengers.
Also present were Moulvibazar District Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Administration) Hasan Mohammad Hasan Naser Rikabdar, Additional Superintendent of Police (DSB) Sudarshan Kumar Roy, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, Rajnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Nazrul Islam, TI. Administration Mohammad Mahfuz Alam and district police officers and police members of different ranks.
