Noakhali Correspondent: A mobile court has raided three illegal polythene factories in Begumganj area of Noakhali on the basis of information provided by Noakhali branch of National Security Intelligence (NSI). During this time huge amount of illegal polythene was seized.
Begumganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Shamsunnahar Begum conducted the operation at noon on Monday (April 25). The police of Begumganj Model Police Station assisted in running the mobile court at that time. At that time, the government was fined one lakh rupees to SP Printing and Packaging Factory, one lakh rupees to Bhai Bhai Printing and Packaging Factory and 50 thousand rupees to Al Medina Printing and Packaging Factory under the Environmental Protection Act for making banned polythene.
