Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birthday is being celebrated across the country today. He was born on March 17, 1920 in Tungipara, Gopalganj to Sheikh Lutfar Rahman and Saira Khatun.

Today (Friday) is his 103rd birth anniversary. People from all walks of life are celebrating this day of Bangabandhu.

National team cricketers also participated in it. Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal cut the cake on the occasion of Bangabandhu’s birthday at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium after practice on Friday.

Practice starts from 10 am today. After practice, the cricketers celebrated by cutting the birthday cake of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the end of the dressing room of the stadium. Along with the cricketers of the team, the coaching staff was there.
