The Department of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (DPDT) under the control of the Ministry of Industry has issued a notification for the recruitment of manpower for several posts under the revenue sector. 24 persons in grades 13 to 20 will be appointed on temporary basis in eight categories of posts in this department. Eligibility: Graduation or equivalent degree with CGPA of second class or equivalent from a recognized university. Competency in computer usage and written test as per Schedule-II. Minimum speed of transcription is 70 words per minute in English and 45 words in Bengali; The minimum speed of computer typing should be 30 words per minute in English and 25 in Bengali.

Districts from which candidates can apply:

Candidates of all districts except Manikganj, Faridpur, Gopalganj, Chandpur, Comilla, Lakshmipur, Naogaon, Kurigram, Panchagarh, Jhenaidah, Magura, Bhola, Pirojpur, Habiganj districts can apply for the post number 1 to 4.

Candidates of all districts except Rajbari district can apply for the post number 5 to 8. However, candidates from all districts can apply for orphanage resident and physically challenged quota.

Applicants age should be between 18 to 30 years as on 30th April 2023. However, if the age of the applicant is within the maximum age limit on March 25, 2020, then the candidate can apply. Maximum age limit is 32 years in case of children of veer freedom fighter/martyr veer freedom fighter and disabled candidates. Age limit is relaxable up to 40 years in case of departmental candidates for posts No. 1, 3 and 4.
