Indian Foreign Minister Subramaniam Jayashankar is coming to Dhaka on Thursday.

During the visit, he will extend an invitation to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on behalf of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Besides, bilateral talks with Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen are expected to discuss a number of issues including Teesta, border killings, road connectivity between the two countries.

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi came to Bangladesh in March last year to celebrate Mujib’s centenary. Last December, the President of the neighboring country Ramnath Kovind visited Dhaka to celebrate the Victory Day. Since then, India has been interested in when the head of government of India will be invited.
