Six people, including four children, were killed when the roof of a school building collapsed in the northern part of Thailand during the cyclone. At least 18 more people were seriously injured in this Monday disaster.
According to AP, children took shelter in the classrooms of Wat Narn Primary School when heavy rains started in the country’s Phitsanulok province. But the steel roof of the school collapsed due to lightning. Six people died on the spot. Among them are four children, a parent and a cleaner of the school.
According to the media, the age of the dead children is between 7 and 13 years. Several others were seriously injured in this incident. They are being treated at a local hospital.
