Teacher and hostel supervisor Dr. Sirajganj Medical Assistant Training School has been accused of sexually harassing students, mentally abusing them and giving obscene messages through social media. Against Kazi Rafiqul Alam.

The student has lodged a written complaint with various government departments including Sirajganj Sadar MP, director of health department (Dhaka) administration.

According to the complaint, the medical officer of Sirajganj Medical Assistant Training School Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Alam has been threatening the students of the hostel socially for a long time by touching their bodies in the classroom and giving obscene messages through social media. He threatened to drop out of state medical and oral examinations if he did not agree to these proposals. The students also tried to commit suicide due to his behavior. Although the head of the organization was informed about these issues more than once, no remedy was found. Dr. Rafiqul Islam alleged that many students dropped out of school due to these misdeeds.

In this regard, the father of the student Imran Hossain said, after submitting the written complaint, we were called to the Medical Assistant Training School. But he did not listen to us but pressured the students to take up the complaint.

Supervisor Dr. Rafiqul Alam denied all the allegations and said that they had lodged false complaints in various departments to tarnish my image.

The principal of Sirajganj Medical Assistant Training School, Dr. Akikun Nahar said, “I have received a written complaint in this regard.” An investigation committee has been formed in the light of the allegations. It has been asked to submit the investigation report within the next 10 working days.
