Gold worth Tk 1.5 crore was found inside the charger fan at Shahjalal Airport

The preventive team of Dhaka Custom House has arrested a passenger returning from Bahrain with 20 gold bars from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. The name of the arrested passenger is Shafiqul Islam.

The seized gold weighs about 2 kg 300 grams and has an estimated market value of Tk 15 million.

Sajjad Hossain, a preventive officer at Dhaka Custom House, made the announcement on Thursday (May 12th).
