Free distribution of fertilizers and seeds among farmers in Morelganj
Bagerhat Correspondent: Free chemical fertilizers and seeds have been distributed among small and marginal farmers under the incentive program of Morelganj Upazila Agriculture Extension Department of Bagerhat to increase the production of aus paddy in ‘Survey-1 / 2022-23 season in FY 2021-21.

Presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Jahangir Alam, the function was also attended by Upazila Vice Chairman Md. Mozammel Haque Mozam, Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Akash Bairagi, President of Upazila Press Club HM Shahidul Islam and others.
According to the Upazila Agriculture Office, 5 kg of Aus paddy seeds, 20 kg of DAP fertilizer and 10 kg of MOP fertilizer have been distributed among 1600 marginal farmers of the upazila free of cost under the incentive program.
