The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested four expatriates involved in an international drug smuggling ring in Oman. Police said three Asian nationals were arrested. A report in the Times of Oman on Monday (February 13) said this.
In a statement, the Royal Oman Police said an international drug smuggling ring was trying to smuggle drugs into the country by sea. Meanwhile, the General Administration for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Control seized more than 20 kg of crystal and 17 kg of morphine from them.
Meanwhile, in a separate operation, the police command arrested another person on charges of drug smuggling from North Al Batinah province. Meanwhile, the police seized a large amount of crystal, heroin and various psychotropic tablets from him. ROP informed that legal action will be taken against those arrested.
