In the last two years, many expatriate workers have become destitute due to Corona, and they are in trouble to buy tickets at double the price.
In this situation, the fare of Biman Bangladesh Airlines is being reduced by Tk 5,000.
After protesting the high price of tickets from different levels, the Chief Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office. A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ahmed Kaikaus. From that meeting the initial decision to reduce the airfare was made. Concerned officials have been asked to prepare for its implementation.

Apart from reducing the rent, a few more decisions have been taken at the meeting for the convenience of the expatriate workers.
These are: Chartered flights will be operated if there is pressure from expatriate workers. The Ministry of Transport and Tourism will also work to identify the travel agency involved in the ticket syndicate, according to the complaint.
