Minister of Information and Broadcasting. Hasan Mahmud MP said, ‘The country has changed now, the fate of people has also changed. The village has become a city. Earlier people used to protest for dal and rice. And because of the improvement in people’s living standards, they now demand to reduce the price of fish and meat.’

He said this while addressing the chief guest at the Trinamool representative meeting of the four unions organized by Rangunia Upazila Awami League at Shilak M Shah Alam Chowdhury Degree College ground of Rangunia Upazila of Chittagong on Friday afternoon.

The minister said, ‘Unprecedented development of the government in the whole country including Rangunia has been possible because of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina and Awami League. Trinamool leaders also demand these developments from the government. Anyone who commits misdemeanors by selling our party name will not be exempted. They must be publicly disciplined.’

He said, ‘Trinamool leaders are the lifeblood of Awami League. These leaders are holding our party in Grameganj and Mohalla. So everyone should work in unison without criticizing themselves. The development of the government should be highlighted to the common people in villages, markets and fields.

The joint general secretary of Awami League said, ‘The development that has taken place in every village and neighborhood of the country should be told to everyone. Those who jump when the vote comes, hide and go to the city and shout slogans in the name of Khaleda Zia, the roads or bridges they cross are also made by Awami League. They have not found any calamities including Corona, boycotting them and uniting organizationally in the future to ensure the victory of the boat.’
