Bagerhat Representative: 312 secondary, higher secondary and equivalent meritorious students of Bagerhat district.
The district council has given a one-time scholarship of Tk 3,000 to the student.

Deputy Commissioner of Bagerhat Muhammad Azizur Rahman was the chief guest at the scholarship awarding ceremony presided over by Bir Muktijoddha Sheikh Kamruzzaman Tuku, administrator of the district council at the district council auditorium in Shaltala on Tuesday (May 10) morning.
Special guests were Jhumur Bala, Chief Executive Officer of Bagerhat District Council and Ahad Uddin Haider, General Secretary of Bagerhat Foundation. The program was conducted by journalist Sheikh Ajmal Hossain.

9 lakh 36 thousand taka was distributed among 312 meritorious students of 9 upazilas of the district.
