Distribution of food items on the occasion of National Nutrition Week in Kamarkhand
Sirajganj District Representative: Nutritious food items have been distributed among the destitute and helpless at the initiative of Kamarkhand Upazila Nutrition Coordinating Committee of Sirajganj keeping in view the slogan ‘Healthy life with proper nutrition’.
Nutritious food items were distributed among 100 destitute and helpless people on the premises of the Health Complex on Thursday (April 26) at 11 am in the implementation of the Upazila Health Complex organized by the Health Nutrition Institute.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Marina Sultana was present as the chief guest in the presidency of Upazila Health Officer Mohammad Ibrahim. Besides, among others, RMO MM Sumon Haque of Upazila Health Complex, Dr. Tama Khatun, Dr. Hema Khatun, Dr. Taslima etc.
In the evening, iftar mahfil was organized with the orphans of Jamtail Kolejpara Hafizia Madrasa, Alokdia Hafizia Madrasa and Dhaleshwar Hafizia Madrasa of the upazila.
