Indigo has launched its first direct flight from Dhaka to Hyderabad, India. The Indian private airline will operate flights on this route two days a week.
The inaugural flight of this route left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 5.15 pm on Monday.
Indigo General Sales Agent Renaissance Aviation Service Limited CEO. Abdur Rahim told The Daily Star that 142 passengers boarded the inaugural flight to Hyderabad.
Initially, Indigo will operate two weekly flights on this route on Mondays and Saturdays. Round trip fares on this route will be between Tk 28,000 to Tk 30,000.
Indigo operates two weekly flights on the Dhaka-Chennai route, three weekly flights on the Dhaka-Delhi route and five weekly flights on the Dhaka-Kolkata route.
