Regarding the launch of flights, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that Dhaka-Narita direct flight is going to start this year. We are happy to announce Dhaka-Narita direct flights within this year.
It takes about eight and a half hours to go to Narita by direct air from Dhaka. When this flight starts, it will take six hours to go from Dhaka to Japan’s Narita Airport. It is believed that the communication between the two countries will be easier.
Biman had been trying for years to launch flights to Narita, Japan. The state-owned airline also received the approval of the Japanese government to start flights. The launch of this flight was also delayed due to the delay of the Prime Minister’s visit to Japan.
Sheikh Hasina is visiting Japan after three years since her last visit in 2019 before the Corona pandemic.
The Prime Minister left Dhaka on Tuesday (April 25) morning on a 15-day official visit to Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom. On the same day, he landed at Tokyo’s Haneda International Airport at 4:45 pm local time.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was welcomed with a red carpet reception and guard of honor at Japan Airport. The Prime Minister is having a busy time since the morning of Wednesday (April 26), the second day of the visit.
