Bangladesh Embassy in Muscat will be closed for two days

The Bangladesh Embassy in Muscat will be closed for two working days on the occasion of Holy Shabae Meraj and International Mother Language Day and Martyr’s Day. The embassy said that all official activities of the embassy will be closed during this time. In a notification on Monday (February 13), the embassy said that the official activities of the embassy will be closed on Sunday, February 19 and Tuesday, February 21.

Meanwhile, the Omani government has declared a holiday on the occasion of the holy Shaba Meraj. On February 19, there will be a public holiday for the employees of government institutions and other legal institutions as well as private sector institutions. In case of urgent need, the employer can make the workers work on holidays subject to their consent, but they will have to pay appropriate remuneration.
