A schoolboy was electrocuted while cutting a tree branch in Kurigram
KURIGRAM REPRESENTATIVE: A schoolboy named Pushant (13) died after being accidentally electrocuted while cutting a tree branch in Gorsthan Para area of Kurigram municipal town.
The incident took place on Tuesday (April 26) at noon while cutting the branches of a tree.
The deceased was identified as Parsha, son of a school student of Goresthan Para area. He is a fourth class student of Government Primary School, Field No. 1.
According to the locals, the deceased Pushant was cutting a tree branch next to the electricity mail line. He was accidentally electrocuted with the main wire and fell to the ground. Locals and fire service personnel rushed to the spot and rushed him to Kurigram General Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
The victim’s father Parash said, “I don’t understand how my son got electrocuted.” I ate with my son in the morning. This is what was written on my forehead.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Kurigram Sadar Police Station Khan Mohammad Shahriar confirmed the death of the schoolboy after being electrocuted.
