Under Google Workspace for Education, 3.5 lakh students of affiliated colleges of National University are getting official e-mail ID.

The process of issuing official e-mail IDs has been inaugurated today on Thursday.

According to the press release of the university, official e-mail IDs were given to 3 lakh 29 thousand 86 students of the 2021-2022 academic year of graduation (honours) class in the inaugural ceremony. Unique official e-mail id will be provided to all students periodically.

The program was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of the National University, Prof. Dr. Md. Mashiur Rahman.

In the speech of the chief guest in the opening ceremony, the vice-chancellor said. Moshiur Rahman said, ‘Students can open new horizons in learning through official e-mail ID. As a result they will get unlimited storage. Here they will be able to make official contact for higher education in various universities around the world.

He also said, through this, students will get a great opportunity to save various important texts, documents, digital content. Not only that, the communication of the students with the university will also be much easier. This official e-mail ID will also play an important role in academic studies.’

Not only students but teachers, officials and staff are also provided with this official e-mail ID. Official e-mail IDs were provided to 38 thousand 817 teachers of affiliated colleges of Sardesh, 2 thousand 242 colleges, 846 officers and employees of National University and 74 teachers on the day of inauguration.
